OOTD "That's not a coat!"
Funny story behind this outfit. I thought I would be a-okay with this on, but not at all. After a long day of freezing my butt off my friend says "Where is your jacket?" I say "Right here!" Then she responds, "That's a cardigan." Well lesson here is, what is a jacket in California definitely won't pass as a coat in North Carolina!

Winter Break Style Options
I've put together a few outfits that are paired with my new shoe pick ups. Over break I kept saying "Man, I left everything in my dorm!", but after taking some time to think I put together some really cute outfits. I put together two outfits for each pair of shoes. I feel so silly for saying I have nothing to wear. There is always something to wear. You just have to step out of your "regular outfit" box, lol. Enjoy!

Today in LA!
So today, my lovely mother took me to LA to do some thrifting. I got some nice pieces from St. Vincent de Paul's thrift store. It is ginormous! You can find anything there, from beanies to grills. After thrifting for a bit I head to Melrose Ave. I got a cute pair of sunglasses from American Rebel. They'll probably be in an outfit of the day at some point. After Melrose we headed to the Grove. I had to go to Topshop and lucky me they were having a 75% off sale. At first I couldn't decide if I was going to buy the two dresses I found until I went upstairs. I saw the shoe section. I found the cutest pair of black boots and red boots. I got both pair for 92 dollars. I saved 65 dollars! That was a deal. I am SO looking forward to wearing these boots. I've bought so many things, I won't have room in my dorm, lol. These boots will be perfect for an east coast winter and summer in Cali. They're ankle boots so it works both ways. I'll have a few outfit of the days starring these lovely boots soon. Stay tuned.
